Workspace commands
The .whosedev/commands/ directory holds reusable prompt templates for workflows your team runs often. Initialize it with WhoseDev: Initialize .whosedev for this Workspace.
Commands complement ad-hoc chat messages: they encode a repeatable procedure so you do not rewrite the same instructions every time.
Organize commands
Section titled “Organize commands”Store one command per file (or one folder per command, depending on your team convention). Use clear filenames that describe the outcome:
.whosedev/commands/ review-pr.md add-api-endpoint.md write-release-notes.mdWrite each command as a self-contained prompt: goal, constraints, verification steps, and files or areas to inspect.
Use a command
Section titled “Use a command”Open the command file when you need the template, or open it from WhoseDev: Manage Workspace (.whosedev). Paste or adapt the content into the Agent chat, adjusting scope for the current task.
Optional prompts directory
Section titled “Optional prompts directory”Initialization can also create .whosedev/prompts/ when enabled. Use prompts/ for longer or experimental templates separate from day-to-day commands.
